  1. About 12 years ago now, I had one of my Great Danes on Rimadyl… 4 tablets each day for arthritis! After a year of that, his arthritis had become so bad that we had decided to put him down the following Monday…. well, that Friday evening I saw an interview on the CBS news about the “B.A.R.F.” diet and how it could help arthritic dogs…. so I Googled the BARF diet for dogs and learned how feeding a raw diet could help… after only 5 days I had my dog off of Rimadyl and he was trotting around and going up and down the steps to the deck with no problem!! He was fine!! He lived for two more years to the age of 13 when we had to put him down because of complete loss of control of his bladder caused by THE RIMADYL!! Since that time I have ONLY fed raw with my dogs (all are rescues) and they have been so healthy, that even my vets have had to admit how good this diet is for them!! I just wish that everyone that has a dog or cat could learn more about the Raw Feeding for dogs and cats!! It is such a wonderfully healthy way of feeding!!

  2. Thank you Barbara for your great BARF experience testimonial…I agree 100%! For those of you who don’t know what BARF stands for, it’s either ‘Bones & Raw Food’ or ‘Biologically Appropriate Raw Food’. Here’s an excellent link to begin learning more about feeding the BARF Diet:
