Apple Cinnamon Yogurt Pops Recipe for Pets

Just thinking about the baked apples my mother used to make for me as a child, with cinnamon and brown sugar, just makes my mouth water.  This recipe has been modified a bit, without the sugar of course, to make the most yummy yogurt pops your pet will enjoy on a warm summer’s day, preferably outside!  If you want one for yourself, go ahead…they’re super healthy!  🙂

2 cups apple cider
1 apple, chopped into tiny chunks
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 cup plain yogurt

Combine the cider, apple, cinnamon, and honey. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is reduced to 1/2 cup. Cool and stir into yogurt. Pour mixture into popsicle containers or ice cube trays and freeze! Recipe can be doubled or tripled!

Side Note:  If you’ve made these yummy apple cinnamon yogurt pops and would love to share your photo here with the recipe, please let us know in the comments below.  As cute as the cat and dog image is, we’d really love to replace them with a real photo.  :-)
