Apple Cinnamon Yogurt Pops Recipe for Pets
Just thinking about the baked apples my mother used to make for me as a child, with cinnamon and brown sugar, just makes my mouth water. This recipe has been modified a bit, without the sugar of course, to make the most yummy yogurt pops your pet will enjoy on a warm summer’s day, preferably outside! If you want one for yourself, go ahead…they’re super healthy! 🙂
2 cups apple cider
1 apple, chopped into tiny chunks
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 cup plain yogurt
Combine the cider, apple, cinnamon, and honey. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is reduced to 1/2 cup. Cool and stir into yogurt. Pour mixture into popsicle containers or ice cube trays and freeze! Recipe can be doubled or tripled!
