Frozen Oats and Nutts Dog Treats

This recipe is so simple, and surely every household has a jar of peanut butter and a box of oatmeal in their kitchen cabinet, cause that’s all you’ll need.   We all know how much dogs love peanut butter, and then add the wholesome goodness of oats and you’ve got a winner!

1 jar of peanut butter and a lot of oatmeal

Scoop out a slab of peanut butter and roll it around in the oatmeal. Place the treat on wax paper and put the wax paper on a paper plate. Freeze it for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Then cut into little pieces and serve to your dog.  I’ve used aluminum foil too, and it works just fine cause the oils in the peanut butter keep the treat from sticking.

Your pets (and you) will both love these cooling snacks!  😉
