Peanutty Pupsicles Frozen Dog Treats
Peanutty Pupsicles are one of the best frozen dog treats I’ve ever made for my Boxers, and to be honest with you, my kids loved them too when they were little! They made perfect after-school snacks for them. But aren’t these for dogs? Sure, but because they’re made from whole foods, you know exactly what’s in them, and they’re just as nutritious for dogs as they are for us! 🙂
1 banana
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup chopped peanuts
Mash bananas and peanut butter, stir in wheat germ and chopped peanuts. Scoop the mixture into popsicle containers or ice cube trays with a teaspoon and freeze. Hold the popsicle for your dog to lick, or place it in his water or food dish to avoid any mess in your home.
Your pets (and you) will both love these cooling snacks!
Side Note: If you’ve made these delicious peanutty pupsicles frozen dog treats and would love to share your photo here with the recipe, please let us know in the comments below. As cute as the cat and dog image is, we’d really love to replace them with a real photo. Last time I made them, my camera’s batteries died! 🙁
